A long-held wish for both ourselves and our customers is now becoming a reality! We are proud to introduce the more environmentally friendly Fossflakes Balance collection – your opportunity to take better care of the planet whilst you sleep. The new collection features organic cotton covers and is filled with, amongst other things, recycled fibres and the unique Fossflakes in a new bio version, made from sugarcane.

At Nordic Sleep by Fossflakes, we draw both inspiration and knowledge from nature – and so it feels entirely natural to us that we also give something back to the Nordic nature from which we were born.

That is why we are proud to introduce Fossflakes Balance – more sustainable duvets and pillows that give you a better night's sleep in harmony with nature.

An eco-friendly alternative with sugarcane and recycled materials

We know that many of you – our valued customers – have been asking for a more sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to the Fossflakes duvets and pillows you already own. We have been working hard to develop duvets and pillows that deliver the same comfortable sleep you know and love – with a lower impact on our climate and planet.

The answer is Fossflakes Bio – our new, more sustainable version of the Fossflakes you may already be sleeping with. They have the same great properties – light, stable, and supportive – but are now made from 52% plant-based plastic derived from sugarcane.

At the same time, we blend Fossflakes Bio with recycled polyester fibres. Altogether, this saves the world a significant amount of newly produced plastic, which is traditionally manufactured from oil.

The pursuit of new, innovative materials

We are tremendously proud of our new, more sustainable collection of duvets and pillows, made from 66% eco-friendly materials – and we are continuing to work on the rest. Because our ultimate goal is to offer you a night's sleep that is 100% climate-friendly.
