Good habits start early, yet the vast majority of babies sleep on a mattress that is far too hard for their soft little bodies. This makes it difficult for little ones to get into a good sleep position,
which in turn can lead to a stiff neck and flat back of the head.
At Fossflakes, we want to give everyone the best possible sleep, so together with experienced chiropractors Peter and Karina Gyrst from the Gyrst Clinic, we have developed a mattress topper that changes the way that
infants sleep – for the better. 

The ergonomic mattress topper is soft and allows the neck to sink down slightly to avoid sudden twists. At the same time, it features seven flexible squares to support baby’s movements and help strengthen neck muscles
– an important factor for developing a strong back and the beginning of healthy motor development. 

In addition, baby gets a mattress topper filled with the unique Fossflakes to help keep baby cool and comfortable so they don't wake up early due to overheating.

We know – unique is a word that gets thrown around a lot. However, when it comes to the unique Fossflakes fiber filling, we actually have a point.
Our patented loose fiber filling is of a quality and shape you won't find anywhere else, which is why Fossflakes offers a unique combination of properties.

The filling is primarily made of polyethylene – a durable and breathable form of plastic with small pores in the surface that allow air to pass through. That’s why the body can regulate its temperature under a duvet with Fossflakes filling.
The filling of both our duvets and pillows consists of 70% patented Fossflakes flakes mixed with 30% polyester fiber balls.

The arch construction of the flakes doesn’t just help ensure good air circulation – the design is also key to the Fossflakes products’ ability to provide stable and ergonomically correct support over time.
This applies to both our regular pillows and our support pillows. This is because the curved shape is incredibly stable, ensuring that the pillows retain their plumpness and firmness longer before going flat – and if they do, it’s easy to shake them back into a plump and supportive shape.

Maintaining the excellent properties of Fossflakes products is easy. Simply give your Fossflakes products a shake to maintain plumpness.

Washing instructions: Machine wash at max. 60°C. Avoid using fabric softeners and detergents with enzymes when washing Fossflakes pillows and duvets, as they can impair the properties of the filling.

Drying instructions: Your Fossflakes products can be air-dried or tumble dried on a low heat (e.g. a wool or silk programme). They cannot withstand high heat.
Remove products as soon as the machine’s drying cycle is complete. If you are unsure whether your machine can dry on low heat, let your pillow and duvet air-dry instead.
The filling is evenly distributed and will not clump even after frequent washing.
