It's so important that you find the right pillow. And the right pillow is the one that suits your sleeping style. The unique composition of the filling ensures it keeps its shape throughout the night.
Fossflakes’ Medium High Pillow is made for side sleepers. The height of the pillow provides stable support for both the head and neck.
Fossflakes’ Medium Low Pillow is made for back sleepers. The pillow's soft support holds your head without overstretching your neck.
You get a hypoallergenic pillow that is actually similar to a down pillow because you can shake the pillow to fluff it up again if it gets a bit tired.
The pillow also features air pockets that make it airy and breathable to ensure that you get a cool night's sleep. All year round.

Up here, in the far north, we live in harmony with the seasons, but when winter hits with sub-zero temperatures and biting night frost, you need the ultimate protection from the nature you love so much. If you live in a beautiful older home, you're probably familiar with a cold bedroom that calls for a duvet that can keep the winter chill off your body all night long.
A winter duvet that keeps you warm and cozy without causing you to sweat is truly an art of construction. The type and amount of filling and the way the duvet is sewn is very important. If you get too warm, you will kick off your duvet and wake up with frozen feet and a cold nose.
With Fossflakes Winter you get a hypoallergenic fiber duvet that is more like a down duvet.
This set comes with a wonderful pillow, and of course it’s also hypoallergenic. Simply give your duvet and pillow a shake and the filling will always be evenly distributed.
In addition, the duvet is sewn in large cassettes and has built-in channels that distribute the filling without thermal bridges, so it retains heat without making you sweaty and overheated.
We know – unique is a word that gets thrown around a lot. However, when it comes to the unique Fossflakes fiber filling, we actually have a point.
Our patented loose fiber filling is of a quality and shape you won't find anywhere else, which is why Fossflakes offers a unique combination of properties.
The filling is primarily made of polyethylene – a durable and breathable form of plastic with small pores in the surface that allow air to pass through. That’s why the body can regulate its temperature under a duvet with Fossflakes filling.
The filling of both our duvets and pillows consists of 70% patented Fossflakes flakes mixed with 30% polyester fiber balls.
The arch construction of the flakes doesn’t just help ensure good air circulation – the design is also key to the Fossflakes products’ ability to provide stable and ergonomically correct support over time.
This applies to both our regular pillows and our support pillows. This is because the curved shape is incredibly stable, ensuring that the pillows retain their plumpness and firmness longer before going flat – and if they do, it’s easy to shake them back into a plump and supportive shape.
Maintaining the excellent properties of Fossflakes products is easy. Simply give your Fossflakes products a shake to maintain plumpness.
Washing instructions: Machine wash at max. 60°C. Avoid using fabric softeners and detergents with enzymes when washing Fossflakes pillows and duvets, as they can impair the properties of the filling.
Drying instructions: Your Fossflakes products can be air-dried or tumble dried on a low heat (e.g. a wool or silk programme). They cannot withstand high heat.
Remove products as soon as the machine’s drying cycle is complete. If you are unsure whether your machine can dry on low heat, let your pillow and duvet air-dry instead.
The filling is evenly distributed and will not clump even after frequent washing.
